Everbuild 503 SBR Bond – 5 Ltr
(Each)
SikaBond® SBR is a styrene-butadiene co-polymer designed for versatile use as an admixture, primer, bonding agent, and sealer in environments exposed to humidity, dampness, or direct water contact. It enhances the water resistance of cement-based mixes by forming a reinforcing polymer matrix that improves long-term durability and flexibility in renderings and floor screeds.
Suitable as an admixture for a wide range of cement and concrete applications—including repair and renovation work, floor surfacing, and general bonding—it also contains anti-foam additives to help control the density of cementitious mixtures.
Product Details
- Excellent adhesion to steel and concrete
- Strong bond to brick, tiles, glass, asphalt, wood, expanded polystyrene, and most common building materials
- Allows mixes to be applied in significantly thinner layers
Can be used:
- As an admixture for mortar/screeds/renders.
- As a bonding agent for screeds/renders.
- As a primer/sealer in tiling applications.
- As a flexibliser for cementicious based tile adhesive when tiling on wooden/asphalt floors.
- In addition, SBR Bond has the advantage over PVA bonding aids in that it is not adversely affected in wet conditions and is therefore recommended for exterior use
