About Paul

Paul Kershaw has over 35 years of experience in the building supplies trade. He started his career in the 1980s as a representative in the sales department at Unifix, which was the leading supplier of fixings at the time. In 1999, he took the entrepreneurial leap and started his own business from his garage, selling pre-packed products. This venture evolved into the launch of the first Tradefix Direct website in 2006.

Paul’s role in the business is multifaceted. In addition to managing the overall operations, he focuses on the buying aspect, utilizing his strong general knowledge of the industry. He is also known for providing excellent advice to customers, drawing from his extensive experience.

Outside of work, Paul is passionate about music. He plays the guitar and enjoys performing his favorite songs from artists like The Beatles, James Taylor, and Bob Dylan. Tradefix Direct is a family-run business, and Paul values the time he spends working alongside his son, daughter, and wife.

Paul is also a skiing nut, making it a tradition to go skiing every winter. He is well-regarded for his approachability and willingness to help. If customers call Tradefix Direct seeking advice, Paul is often the person they speak to, and he is always happy to assist.
